The Garden - Album Artwork

For her first debut album called The Garden, Dutch musician Eline May wanted something special as a cover art. She has sinestesia and colours mattered to her. She also wanted to tell a story.

That was my very first (and not the last) use of Krita for digital painting. It's fantasticly intuitive to use, marvelous colour blending and brushes out of the box. The only downside is doing any font work is absolutely impossible, I hope this gets improved in future version but already, this is a full fledge painting program... How far has free and open source software come!
